i started my crafty journey as a crochet pattern designer. i used to create crochet patterns to pair with audiobooks, thus the books and the (crochet) hooks. when i fell in love with polymer clay jewelry, i kept the name to honor my origins, and also because "hooks" are in my earring designs, too! since then, it's grown into a hub for general crafty things.
